Taichung Park
This historical park is beautifully landscaped with an artificial lake, pavilions, and arch bridges. It is suited to leisure and family activities.

Taichung Broadcasting Bureau
The windows of this historical building reflect many different styles. Pop-up and DIY activities are held here from time to time.

Tanya Shen Green Bikeway
This bikeway was built along the branch of a former military railway line. It is gently sloping and suitable for the whole family.

Houfeng Bikeway
This bikeway runs through what was known as Tunnel No. 9 of an old mountain railway line and spans the Dajia River Valley. It is a unique bikeway with nostalgic charm.

Gaomei Wetlands
This ecological conservation area is rich in natural resources. It is a great place for bird watching and sunset viewing.

921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan
Collapsed school buildings, uplifted river bed, and surface ruptures caused by a major earthquake, measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale, have been preserved at this site.

Asia University
This campus features Baroque architecture and a modern art museum designed by Tadao Ando, which presents works by well-known Taiwanese and international sculptors.

Wufeng Lin Family Mansion & Garden
This is Taiwan’s first traditional southern Chinese-style residence, with elegant structures and landscaped garden.

Dongfeng Bicycle Greenway
This dedicated cycling path was converted from an abandoned railway line. Along the way are views of greenery and the adjacent Dajia River.

Jenn Lann Temple
This is one of the most famous temples in Taiwan devoted to the goddess Mazu. It is very popular, with crowds of worshippers all year round.

Dakeng Scenic Area
There are currently 12 hiking trails in the Dakeng Scenic Area, with varying levels of difficulty, including those suited to people of all levels of physical fitness.

Taichung Folklore Park

Taichung Confucius Temple
Walk inside this temple and watch as people pray for good scores on important exams. The tranquil grounds are a great place to relax.
